Hi all,
Sorry if this sounds like a silly question as ive tried to look online and could not find a clear yes or no answer but do any of the B7 model Passat's including the ALLTRACK model require adblue?
Im not that real knowledgeable when it comes to VW's so I'm just trying to do some research for my first purchase

Cheers thanks so much for the confirmation.
Hi Chris,
Just beware that the 125TDI and the 130TDI are subject to Dieselgate and the subsequent voluntary recall and ECU flash. There has been multiple reports of poor drivability, EGR failures and other problems associated with the reflash. Just do a search for other threads within this site and other sites especially EU/UK.
I have a 125TDI wagon and haven't had the reflash.
Good luck with the purchase.
Thank you for the heads up.
I had heard about the ECU's needing to be refreshed on certain models but had no clue it was resulting in poor drivability and such :/
Actually the ALLTRACK i was looking at a few weeks ago got removed from sale (could not arrange a decent time with the seller) so that's gone but over the weekend i had a look at the B8 wagon with R-Line package and i must say i was really impressed with its stance/looks. Honestly i had never seen one of these up close before problem is though the price is well over double the amount i was looking to spend! LOL
Hi lads. I purchased a second hand 2012 125TDI. How does one find out whether it has been flashed or not? Cheers.

I guess Australia never got B7 with adblue, but it exists in EU.
