B7 Passat LED kits (what's out there known to fit and work without bulb check errors?

    Hey guys

I'm keen to replace the normal 'yellow' bulbs to LED's such as the rear plate lamps, normal driving lights (I dont have xenon's) parkers, interior bulbs etc.

Can anyone recommend a forum sponsor for a kit which is known to work? There are millions of kits on ebay aliexpress etc from China but who knows if they'll work OK...

Look at uspmotorsport in the US. They have lighting kits for most VW models. Good prices and fast delivery.

Found this kit on ECS and they also have a nice lil DIY tutorial which may help others in future if they stumble upon this thread:

Seriously, the best way is to actually work out what bulbs you need and buy them separately as i have seen alot of kits that say they fit but dont. I just worked out what i needed with my B6 and bought separately. I couldnt find a kit that had all the correct fittings. Mine have been great. I did do a thread on it a little while ago.

I used snerlo's posts to do my interior lights and licence plate lights. The only thing that didnt work was the light in the boot. Keep a 5 and 10 fuse handy though I blew one of mine and had to replace that.
