Alarm retrofit

Has anybody fitted the factory siren ? I have got one but not sure where it goes and how to wire it ,I'm guessing one of the 3 wires is a earth ? Any ideas ,Google search isn't showing much.

you will probably need the alarm module, sensors for doors etc, ultrasonic sensors and a lot of wiring.

just a question ,does every Passat b6 honk when locking and unlocking ? the info I did find was that you had to replace the standard old horn with the siren, bridge out the relay run a extra wire to the ccm t6/6 and a bit of coding but still I got nothing maybe mine doesn't have the old horn ,modules ect??

My old b6 tdi never honk...when i asked dealer about it, they told thatbis normal and can be enabled if i wanted.
New b7 not honk as well but i do not care anymore 😃

Anti theft on these is pretty good.

Horn will blast if the anti theft system is breached.

Is this easy to enable? I'd prefer if mine honked as I'm always double checking I locked it. Hard to see the lights flash sometimes.

Probaby easy with coding. I am not into that. Maybe kamold or transporter can help. Regards

i have alarm and enabled chirp on lock/unlock but not sure if that will work with honk only as i tried to do that with my mates a3 sportback and couldn't get it to honk, he had no alarm
