2012 PASSAT 2.0TDi Bluemotion Timing tool kit recommendations

    All,

I have a CFG engine fitted to my 2012 Passat TDI Highline. I have the timing kit, but I am unsure of the correct tooling to use.

I had previously done the job on the older PD engines, but with this being CR I know the tooling is different.

Please advise. I have found this one on ebay, and it seems close: https:/Engine Timing Tool Kit Diesel Locking for VW Audi VAG Golf Seat TDI PD Engine | eBay

    Thanks in Advance

Funny thing about the one you linked to is that is says "PD" in the title description, but then in the detailed description it says not for PD motors. This one looks same/similar and says it for the newer CR engines: Diesel Engine Timing Locking Tool For VAG VW Audi Seat Skoda 1.6 2.0 TDi CR 2012 | eBay

Someone else was asking this exact same question a few weeks ago. Might be worth having a look at this was discussed in more detail there: How difficult is it to install a new timing belt kit and water pump yourself?

I am about to do this job myself and I am also confused with the various timing toolkits. I also have CFG engine code. Keen to hear how you go with your enquiry.
