2012-2013 Passat 3.6 FSi Highline LED Upgrade

Hi All

I have had my car for a couple of months now, and was wondering how I would go about upgrading all the interior and wing mirror lights to LED's for extra brightness.
Are there just plug in and replace sets available.

I have seen a large number on Ebay however want to ensure that I get the correct ones.

I recently bought a set (interior, rear license plate lights & DRL near fogs) I'll let uno how I go!

I'm not sure 100% about the internal lights but some/all of the bulbs might need to be canbus error free otherwise you might get the warning light on your dashboard.

Thanks, Please do I have some money burning a hole in my pocket and thought it was a decent place to start with tinkering with the car.

Hence why I am looking for guidance. I dont mind the cost. Just want to ensure that

A: I get the right ones first time
B: Its not rocket science to replace them
C: I upgrade as many as possible, Interior, Exterior, Wing Mirrors. LED, DRL..

As long as the seller sells you true canbus error free bulbs your ok - the rest is in the hands of god.

Seriously, in my experience exterior bulbs will definitely have to be error free (or you will have to use them in conjunction with one of those error cancelers) On 'the bay' just search for example: LIGHT BULBS ERROR FREE CANBUS, CANbus LED Control Unit, etc. Choose the bulbs that suit your car and hopefully all should be OK. When I upgraded mine the DRL were already wired up error free so were the wing mirrors LED's. I've just bought LED's for low beam but I'm not sure if they are already error free. I hope that's the case.
