What engine is that? 1.8maybe. Like a small mk6 gti engine. Could be the water pump, cracked outlet or I ring. Not many gaskets used in coolant systems.
My 2010 passat B6 wagon has had a very small coolant leak for a while, but has suddenly got a lot worse. I jacked up the car and got underneath and it appears it is leaking from a plastic flange where the coolant pipes enter the bottom of the engine.
Much searching online has failed to even give me a list of the coolant system parts, let alone even a simple exploded view to name the part.
I assume the gasket has gone, but if I'm going to replace that, I think I would replace the whole flange as I have heard they can split/crack, better safe than sorry.
Any help appreciated.

If it is a similar plastic coolant flange to the one in my wife's Golf Mk5 TDI there is no gasket, it uses a rubber o-ring instead.
You probably need to go see the parts department of your nearest VW dealer to get a "quote" on the plastic flange, they should be able to give you the VW part number (in the format XXX XXX XXXY, Xs are numbers, Y is letter) and you should then be able to search ebay using that part number.
