WTB: 2009+ Octavia RS (facelift version)

    hi all

Been looking for a while so thought i'd do a WTB post.

Looking for an Octavia RS wagon (EDIT: Wagon or hatch) if anyone has one to sell.

Prefer MY11 on because of the Columbus satnav unit

Prefer DSG but will consider manual.

    In Sydney.

(i've already been monitoring Carsales, nothing there in my budget or locality)

You can always add the Columbus for ~$1100 after the fact, its an easy upgrade. Just a thought if you want to relax your parameters...

    Would that include install ?
May be an option as I want the right Bluetooth A2DP features too

Depends what version you get and whether you buy locally or from OS on Ebay.
I'm near you and can install/code it and BT should you require it.

Thanks Kamold! I will keep you in mind.

Do you know if the 2009 -2010 cars with Bolero would happen to have A2DP steaming on em?
I actually don't need Nav, just a good music streaming system from any bluetooth device like iPad for kids videos/games

Bolero supports A2DP in via the correct BT module. Its the BT module that is the key. Ideally you want a 9w7. They support AVHCP 1.3 which means it displays the track/artist info as well as being able to skip tracks etc.
