Plenty of views....any advice or suggestions? Happy to be patient as I think the price is fair given the age, k's and history of the car but I would appreciate feedback!

    Cheers.

Lovely looking GTI there, though I'm not a big fan of the wheels TBH.

Problem is that you are trying to sell it on a VW forum, where most enthusiasts know that the engine & gearbox combination in this Polo GTI is the worst ever in VW's history from a reliability perspective ..... personally you would have to pay me to take the car but that is just me.

I'd suggest advertising outside on CarSales/GarsGuide/Gumtree and make the price realistic (+-$16K in my view). Plenty of people out there (who are unaware of the engine/gearbox issues on this combination) who will buy this if the price is competitive. Advertise it as an auto GTI and you will start getting some bites.

Price guide here : Used Car Research - Used Car Prices - Compare Cars - RedBook.com.au

EDIT: Just checked your carsales add and the price is too high at $19.5K IMO.

Appreciate your thoughts, thanks mate. I put it on Carsales as the starting point but thought it might also be worth advertising it in this forum. Obviously I got one of the good ones as I haven't had any issues thus far!

Price drop - $17,900. By far the cheapest 6R QLD GTI on Carsales and more than competitive with other GTIs from the less awesome states.

Price drop - $17,200. Reluctant to drop further however I am willing to discuss reasonable offers.
