I am currently in the process of learning to ride a motorcycle (haven't started yet, but I have booked) and I will be looking to sell off the R. My wife has a car so we won't be needing two cars and a bike (already tried this on with my lovely wife but unfortunately she makes sense).

    Anyone interested?

I bought this car from a forum member in June last year and have had the car professionally detailed recently. The car is my daily driver, I use it every day to travel to and from work on the motorways. I don't drive it hard and couldn't even if I wanted to due to the traffic (hence going for a motorcycle) and wife (not yet sure what to do about this part?).

    Any questions, please ask.

    FAQ:
    - Roadworthy will be supplied prior to sale.
    - Yes, open to offers (that's what o.n.o. means)
    - Not willing to part out at this stage unless you want to buy all 78,463 parts individually at once.

KWs are awesome and I love them! I had Bilstein PSS10's on my Pirelli and they were brilliant too!

If I were you I would keep it a bit longer though ..... As a new rider you will be restricted to a LAMS bike for a year .... And TBH they are uninspiring mostly. After a year you can get something worthwhile and then only sell the R .....
    Picking up my CBR500R tonight.

Oh, BTW - it's now 3 years of restrictions!

I mostly commute to work now and I also have the wife's car to use so as much as I'd love to have an awesome car and a bike I could use the money better (holiday anyone?)

The car is awesome but during peak hour I don't get the chance to use the acceleration and handling (apart from a possible merge or two) and whilst it is comfortable, my wife's car is just as comfy.

Bump - I'm feeling confident on the bike and will be starting to use it for commuting next week (hopefully) so I'll be advertising on carsales.com.au next week... open to offers!

Very surprised you haven't moved this on Don. A really great car.

Watch yourself on the bike. Ride it like everyone is trying to kill you and always make eye contact with drivers at junctions, if there's no eye contact, it's safe to assume they haven't seen you and back off accordingly to give yourself extra time to react.

    Gavin
