    FS - 1976 B1 LS Passat

Time to sell Dorothy (named by previous owner's child as age indicated it was a dinosaur to her....)

    She's a wattle yellow 1976 LS.
    114,000km genuine!
3 owners since new, previous owner bought her from an deceased estate auction.

She has had some new paint in her life on some panels, but I believe most of her is original.
Only rust is in the two driver's side doors in lower sections. Cannot find rust anywhere else.
Looks like a car should with only 114,000km

New pads and shoes. Waterpump changed for one that has no corrosion around heater pipes. New strut canisters fitted and new rear shocks (however there is a slight knocking noise from these rears). Brand new carburettor fitted. Battery is 2 years old.

Currently has 80% rubber on 15" Holotype's, but can fit with an alternate set of wheels of choice from my collection.

Dash is generally good, with only one or two cracks and a little warping of the woodgrain.

Never had a radio fitted, so no holes. Heater temp knob is missing (presume it broke off). I just adjust for summer or winter under the bonnet as the flow control tap is still serviceable. One head rest has vinyl cracking, otherwise the interior is mint. All gauges work, even the clock.

The only immediate problems - Just out of rego, but still renewable (on original plates since it rolled out of the saleyard). Water leak from heater hoses (could just need a clamp..... Haven't had a look at it yet other than to note where it's spilling water).

Make a decent offer.... Not many of these left on the roads. She is comfortable as all F...k to drive, starts first go, doesn't blow any smoke, idles beautifully and I enjoy driving her any chance I get, so she is a sorry sale. I just have too many cars and need some room...

    Too many dubs to mention....
