    Audi 200T with Manual Conversion

    Hi Folks,

Some of you may have seen my 200T I have been pottering away on for the last year and a half, but time has come for her to find a new home. Why you ask?? Well always wanted to use this line "I've just bought a house" and the minister of war and finance has decreed I may only have one toy. Which is actually quite reasonable. I have acquired something I have wanted for a while so the 200 needs a new home.

If you would like to see the journey have a look here ------> I bought this today!!!!!

Ok a quick summary of the car

When I acquired her she was is a sad and sorry state bearly running, filthy and missing lots of bits. But with a hell alot of cleaning and power of international forums to find all the fiddley bit she is going great.

Here as I see it are the good bits

    THE GOOD!!!

-The only 200 I know of in Australia converted to manual!!!! Box, pedal box and centre console!!!
-Epic Full Alcantara Dash and Centre Console grey with light blue stitching. Not micro suede but real Alcantara!!
-Re-trimmed Gear Knob grey leather matching stitching
-Ben Swan Chipped ECU 1.8 Bar with Matching Valve Spring (Super Rare)
-Full Re-trimmed Roof Lining and sunroof Panel (Yes this is a B%#ch of a job to do the windscreen has to come out)
    -New Windscreen
-Full interior stripped out shampoo'd and steam cleaned re-assembled
    -Power windows all work
-Orignal Ronal rims (rare) also wearing B6 A4 17's at present
    -Worn front suspension replaced
-Push Button start like an B7 RS4
-Rad Patina paint on the roof and bonnet
-2.1litre Turbo 5 cylinder ohh yeah!!!!

THE bad umm wooo I mean Opportunities!

    - Tacho still need to be connected to the manual box, the sender from the original auto was broken
    - Cruise control not connected
    - Trip computer not working, probably cactus! Have a spare not tested yet
    - Back lights on Dash not working, suspect a relay
    - No Stereo
    - AC needs a re-gas
    - Coolant level warning light is stuck on most likely a faulty sensor

So whats its going to cost you????

The car it self didn't cost me a lot of money, however it took a lot of time and plenty of cash to get her it to a reliable, registrable state. The car has 177 XXX km and has been used as a daily driver for the last month with no dramas. If you want to own an audi that is a bit of a rarity and you wont see every day here is your chance. Currently registered on Club rego which is non transferable, if you would like to register her on club permits happy to put you in touch with Club Audi Victoria People or Bayside Auto Club.

    $1700 ono
