    2011 VW Golf R (3 door DSG)

    $35,000

2011 (March 2011 manufacture date) Volkswagen Golf R 3 door
    DSG gearbox
    United Grey
    71,000 kms

    Factory options include:
    - ACC (adjustable suspension damping, steering and throttle)
    - Electric sunroof (tilt and slide)
    - Reversing camera
    - 19 inch silver Talladega wheels

I have also performed aftermarket modifications to the vehicle to build on, but not detract from, the performance and drive-ability of the car. These include:
    - Custom 3 inch stainless steel exhaust system with 4 inch Magnaflow tips (quiet when cruising)
    - CTS air intake
    - Recode custom engine tune
    - Recode custom DSG tune
    - 145 bar rail valve
    - Autotech HPFP insert
    - H&R sport springs
    - H&R rear sway bar

The modifications were installed in November / December 2014. Since I've owned the car it does mainly highway driving (100 km round trip commute).

The car is in great condition. Small stone chip on the passenger fender but otherwise perfect. Following a small car park dent last year a significant amount of the drivers side was repainted to ensure perfect paint match.

The car has a full service history, with the most recent service performed in November 2015. The car may need new front brakes pads at the next service (November 2016 or ~80,000 km's).

The car will not be sold with the BBS wheels as pictured for the advertised price, but with silver 19 inch Talladega rims.

Such a cool car. Can you take a photo of the ding on the guard?

How much variation in paint colour between original and repainted side?

    Thanks.

I'll get a photo, but its tiny (a millimeter maybe) and just a small bit of paint missing (no impact mark / dent). It's the only mark I can find on the car.

There is zero variation. That is the whole reason it was a big job for a small dent. I wanted it to be perfect rather than just a touch-up which shows. The work was done by one of only three VW authorised repairs in WA who specialises in prestige cars (Vehicle repairs in Western Australia by McCarthy Panel & Paint)

New car has arrived so this is sitting around collecting dust. Consequently, if you lob me an offer in the $30's I'll take it. Otherwise it's off to a dealer.
