2008 (MY09) Golf GT Sport TDI (Stage 2+)

So it’s finally time to move on to another car, I have spent too much on this one and would like some change. This car has been a lot of fun and has been looked after well, there are some issues however you will also be buying a car that has had so much replaced it’s almost new…..

This car has a lot of potential, and is ready for the next level. It’s quick for a diesel (230bhp), sounds great, and handles extremely well (and looks the part too), not to mention you can get it down to 3.8L/100KM freeway driving (I’ve gotten over 1000km from tanks before).

    Info:
    - DSG
    - Graphite Blue
    - 160,000KM
    - Heated leather seats
    - Rego expiry August 2018
    - Will provide RWC

    Recent purchases:
    - Brand new steering rack and end links
    - New lower balls joints
    - New lower control arms and all bushings
    - New engine and transmission mounts
    - New upper strut mounts and bearings
    - New wheel bearings
    - New CV joints
    - New DMF and starter motor

    Cosmetic:
    - GTI Front lip and side skirts
    - R32 steering wheel with paddle shifters
    - RNS510 with amp wiring to the boot for a sub, etc
    - Bluetooth and GPS module
    - GT Steel insets for the seats
    - GTC-GX 18x8.5 Wheels
    - Interior LED kit from Supernovaleds
    - LED Headlight bulbs
    - Painted break callipers (blue)
    - Rolled front guards
    - Feynlab paint protection and water repellant treatment applied, should last a few years, makes it very easy to wash

    Performance:
    - Darkside Developments Downpipe and EGR kit
    - 42DD Velocity Stack Intake (makes woosh and flutter noises)
    - Milltek catback exhaust
    - Prosport boost gauge in OSIR vent pod
    - Bilstein B14 Height Adjustable Coilover Kit
    - Whiteline rear adjustable sway bar
    - Stage 2+ & DSG Tune by 3BAR (230+ BHP)

    The bad…
    - With the current power output, certain diesel fill ups can cause a stutter under heavy acceleration, still unsure of the issue, could be fuelling or injectors
    - There is a vibration when turning hard and fast to the right, I have replaced almost everything I can to try and find it, but still have not been able to find it.

    Price: 10,000

If I didn’t already own one as well. ( same colour as mine 🤘🏻 ) I’d buy as well. That’s a very cool GT with only a few minor hiccups and some VERY expensive mods

FYI my gt is modded very smiliar as yours. I also had a fuel studder under hard acceleration. Was a simple fix. The pre fuel filter attached to the internal fuel pump (inside tank) was clogged. Thought I’d share as it was a really simple fix. Was bloody annoying, hope it helps

Unfortunately it's too much effort for me to part that out

Put a new pre filter screen on. Remove back seat , open fuel pump access. Replace screen. Simple.
