2000 Audi S3 8L Stage 1, Nothing to spend
Hi All,
Moving into a Golf mk5 gti! So time to move the S3 on.
2000 pre facelift model in red with 225000 on the clock. Car is in great condition including paintwork and interior for its age. Has full logbooks. Leather is in very good condition and all original footmats included. Electric everything.
Have only owned it for a year but in that time I've done (in the last 10000ks):
New clutch and DMF
Timing belt and water pump
New haldex primer pump and fluid
Gearbox and rear dif oil change
All vacuum systems overhauled (no leaks!) - new Pcv parts etc.
DV recently replaced
New engine mounts and poly dogbone
All usual maintenance items like intake filter, oil, oil filter, fuel filter, sparkies etc etc.
Front end Suspension overhauled including bushings, tie rods and sway bar mounts.
Headlining replaced
Has the parcel shelf!
CV boots
The list goes on... There really is nothing to spend on this car - it's in drive away condition (a lot aren't at these ks)
The only issue with the car is the LCD screens on the radio and mfd. the radio isn't really readable but the mfd does work fine, just gets fairly scrambled on a hot day. I had it on my list as the final thing to do but alas have moved on!
Aircon is ice cold and heater warm, all windows work. Original six stacker and full Bose sound system.
Mods:
Stage 1 Custom Code from Gav - unbelievably torquey when the turbo is spooled and you can simply plant your foot with the quattro, it's a real experience....
Poly dogbone mount
Solid shifter bushings
All performance and make the car feel super tight.
Currently fitted with a custom Westfalia removable towbar (don't worry, you don't need to cut anything for these so rear bumper is original). And Thule roof racks.
Will probably separate unless the buyer is desperate and we can sort a deal!
Paint still looks great, tyres on about 50%.
Will come with 10 months rego, only just paid for it!
