    1996 Vento GL 2.0 Manual

Selling my 96 Vento GL 2.0 Manual, these are uncommon cars that rarely come up for sale. I have only seen one other in the three years that I've owned the car. If you've ever wanted one of these, this is your go because they never come up for sale in manual, good condition with the textured bumpers. This one is in original condition, it still has the VW side window shields and I have the original VW mudflaps and head unit that I can include. I have put 50 000km on this car in three years and it has always been completely reliable. The car comes with stocks wheels (not pictured) and number plates, no rego and no RWC.

    Price is $2750 negotiable.

Since I've had the car, I have spent thousands and replaced the following with brand new items:

    -coolant tank
    -rover cover gasket
    -cambelt
    -water pump
    -serpentine belt
    -shifter bushes
    -rear discs
    -rear brake pads
    -rear wheel bearings
    -battery
    -carpet floor mats

    Good points:

-body is completely straight with no dents
    -rare fake wood dash inserts
    -JOM coilovers

    Bad points:

-both rear electric windows no longer work (this is the case for most MK3's)
-two small spots of rust where the windscreen meets the roof.
    -stock tyres have low tread

    Good luck with the sale!

My wife would kill me if I even looked like I was thinking about it, now that I own 2 of the 397 Ventos that were sold in Australia.

Ad is up on carsales now, and I may end up selling the car on an ebay auction. I would definitely prefer it to go to someone who loves VW's so if you've ever wanted one of these, make an offer and we can negotiate on price. This car is already cheaper than about half the mk3 Golfs on carsales, but this is a much rarer car.
