Lexus CT200h in Black.
2 of the most difficult paint system to do paint corrections on are the Lexus Black & Subaru Black.
Lexus Black is super soft, to the point where even CCS White pads can leaves unwanted marring.
At least 1/2 of the car is covered with holograms, with parts of the back bumper having deep swirl scratches.
Holograms were corrected using Zentool, Rupes Gold Pad and very light pressure.
Deep Swirl Scratches on the back bumper had to be cut aggressively with Rotary and Wool, unfortunately this is where a big throw DA simply cannot spin due to the curves. Finished using a Rockwell, Rupes Gold Pad and a polishing technique called "Edging" (from Autogeeks).
Edging Technique is a way of making the pad perform at its best on curved areas but with the downside of sacrificing pad durability. In this instance, the Rupes Gold Pad was destroyed after this car.
Any questions please ask. Enjoy the pics...
