Lol.. so I got a little carried away in the end and spent probably about the same amount as what I'd budgeted before.. but it's ok. I'm going to share costs with a couple of buddies here. I did the "what your nan or mom would do and buy in bulk so you can save on per unit costs, but then you're spending more $$ for things you don't need now" deal..

    Duragloss paint protection pack
    Duragloss car wash concentrate (437ml)
    303 aerospace protectant (8oz)
5-pack mint foam applicator pads (probably didn't need so many once i saw them in the box, since the paint pack comes with two..but as i said, i'll be sharing)
3-pack mint microfibre waffle weave towel XL (again, sharing)
    mint microfibre plush wash mitt

and in a separate order, cos i got so excited, i forgot to purchase stuff for the interior..

    Duragloss leather shampoo
    Duragloss leather conditioner

All up. $288.62. I could have saved a bit on shipping by ordering from waxit as their shipping is standard, so larger orders would save you some money, but I really liked the advice and service I got from carcareproducts, so I'm not too fussed. The items arrived within the week neatly packed.

So, I'm going to get cracking this weekend.

By the way, does anyone know what cloth (blue and yellow) is for what purpose in the paint protection pack? http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/pr...rotection_pack

Do i just use one foam applicator for applying all three products?

    ta!

Looks like the yellow cloth is the ultra microfibre one

I'd say for best results use a clean applicator for every new product, ie the first two and then wash one. It may not be necessary though, but that's just me.

Yeah.. I think so too. Here're some images to confirm. But, what do I use them for? Do I use the harsher one (gray, not blue sorry) first, followed by the yellow one? At which point of the application process do I use them?

Thanks for the tip about the applicators. I might just do the same since I have a few extra sponges. hehe

You can use either for whatever you like - just DON'T drop them in the dirt. In fact put a bucket aside for used ones so they don't get crap all over them because it takes ages to pick out every bit of crap that sticks to them! And don't shoot at the bucket - you'll be spewing if you miss and have to clean one.

    Just my experience.

I'd personally use the ultra microfibre one for final products and on glass, using it to buff off the final product. The normal microfibre will be better for the first or first and second products, again used to buff it off.

Oh. There's no particular method to this madness then?
I thought they were to be used in a particular order or something.
