    Good to hear, you need to seal it before applying wax, there are a heap on the market.. anything by Duragloss (111) or Wolfgang 3.0 are good examples, many have their own favourites. Then apply what ever your wax preference is.. if you have the car outside then I would recommend sticking with the synthetics as the wax is just not going to be that durable.

    I have recently moved to nanolex which last for 12 - 18 months which is a synthetic sealant

    is it best to apply the sealant by hand, just rub it on and wipe it off a couple minutes later?

    Yes apply it by hand, wait 3-5 minutes and wipe off, generally the info is on the product you use. If you leave it too long it will harden and be very hard to remove. Generally leave overnight and don't get wet so it can bond with the paint

    I have a 5 door white gti and it seems like dirt sticks to the car! Is there anything i can buy that will help?
