^^^ and so it begins. You will become addicted to keeping your car clean. OCD - Obsessive Compulsive Detailing

Car looks good BTW, amazing how much better a result you get with good quality products. As for claying, amazing how much rubbish it pulls off the paint.

I did a 3hr long process last night of wash/clay/polish/wax. Looks excellent now!
Thanks to my Mothers Portable Wax Attack (helped me cut the wax & polish time down)

You can wash, clay, polish and wax a Passat in 3 hours? Geez, are you The Flash or something?

My golden rule of cleaning/detailing a car: No matter what, you are never finished, not ever.

The car wasn't very dirty as even the clay bar didn't take much off. I clayed the car after washing while it's still wet (spray some lubricant of course), so the process was quicker and the polish+wax on using the portable wax attack was sensational.
But the car looks ever shiny now, almost comparable to when I first bought it. A happy dad on fathers day

Btw a funny thing happened today, I parked my car in the basement carpark at Eden Gardens. As I was returning to the car, there was a family getting out of the car and the driver just mentioned to me that he didn't hit my car when they opened the door..I was like Oh!..Ok....
Then he was staring at my car as I left. Hmm... what shiny cars do to people is weird!

I take that longer than that to wax my Polo and it is half the size of your car. Must have been a pretty quick detail

Is the Mothers Wax Attack any good?

Was Hand as good as machine? I don't mind doing it by hand as your only going to do it like 3-4 times a year. I dont drive my car that much.
