    WA Paint Protection film offer

Hey guys, posting on behalf of Volksee :

He is a master of paint protection and does high end Ferrari, Porsche, lambo’s etc (see his website for pictures). He has supplied numerous stuff for me before and since he is on his way over he is going to do my dubs and offered some special pricing for me and any of my mates who might be interested. He usually charges $1500 for front end protection which includes the front of bonnet, lights, front bar, front wings and mirrors but since he is coming he has offered it much cheaper at $1000 ish per car which may be +/- a few $$$$ depending on model and size i.e. Amarok. He can also do a full car but obviously that is more. Dijon will only use 3M / ventureshield which comes with a full warranty etc.

Anyway mate if you are keen let me know and if you want to offer it up to any of the WA dub / audi guys on the forums you think would be interested (like Gareth and R / VR boys) feel free as he is more than happy to fit us all in. I can’t get on the forums for the next 2 weeks as I am out bush again so if you want to start a thread on it then go for it

A lot of places offer PPF but most use cheap knock off Chinese stuff that just doesn’t last and goes yellow. Dijon has a great reputation by only using the very best film and is the operator of choice for the prestige and exotic guys in QLD.

    Paint Protection Film
Thank you for choosing to have our Paint Protection Film applied to your vehicle. The care and maintenance
of the film is paramount to its success in appearance and purpose. Please follow these general guidelines
and do contact us directly if you have any questions or comments.
    1. The application process uses a significant amount of chemical and water solution which may still be
apparent after you have collected your car or motorcycle. This is quite normal and should not be of
concern. It is important however not to place any undue pressure on these areas whether they
appear as a bubble or bump in the film layer. Please let the film dry out in its own time. This could
be as much as three to four weeks.
    2. The film will shrink to the car during the drying out process albeit fractions of a millimeter. After this
time there may be a need for film adjustment or trimming to happen. If you believe this is the case
then please call The Racing Room and we will arrange for this to happen at a time and place of
your convenience. Please also be aware that the trimming process during application or later,
involves the use of a very sharp blade and while the utmost of care is always taken, it is possible
for small cuts to occur in the clear coat of the paint. These give the appearance of a scratch, will
only be visible if the film is removed and can usually be polished out without difficulty.
    3. It is important to remember that a new layer has been added to your paintwork. The result of this is
that any imperfections i.e. paint lumps, existing chips and marks, and sometimes parts of the film
adhesive itself, may continue to show beyond the drying out time. This is unavoidable in most
cases and should not be considered to be the result of careless application.
    4. Small airborne dust particles may show after the drying time. Sometimes these can be removed
with ease at other times not. The environment in which the film is applied is largely responsible for
this and again is often unavoidable.
    5. Maintenance of the film is simple. While being careful of edges and corners, polish it as you would
your car. Use a good quality wax and if the film itself is marked by bugs, tar or tree sap etc the
recommended product to clean it is called Vu-Plex and is available from accessory stores.
    6. Please call your insurance company and have the application noted on your policy. In the event of
panel damage due to an accident, this will ensure re-application of the film is allowed for.
The Racing Room warrants both the film and application. The film has a two year warranty against yellowing,
cracking and general degradation (impact damage excepted) provided normal care procedures are followed,
and the application warranty against lifting, peeling or creases (generally noticeable after the drying process)
is also for two years. Because of varying types of paint respraying (if applicable) we cannot warrant the film
or its application in these instances. However in the interests of good business, The Racing Room will
address any concerns you have at any time. There is no warranty for Motorsport applications other than
    your statutory rights.
For more information in relation to the care and warranty of your Paint Protection Film, please refer to our
website www.TheRacingRoom.com.au or call us on the numbers listed below.
Thank you once again for selecting The Racing Room for your motoring products and we look to be of
service for all your vehicles in the years to follow.
    Kind Regards
    Dijon
