    VW windscreen washer additive

I have been given a bottle of the stuff (Silver 1 litre bottle - Windscreen Clear Concentrate) to use but there is no instructions on it.
Does anybody know what the correct ratio to add it to water is?
    Thanks.

Try this. 4 parts water to 1 part concentrate.

I just went down to grab some form the VW parts place while I was doing other things. At $10 for 1L it's not all that cheap compared to the off the shelf stuff since you use much much more, so it is more expensive.... might have to look into getting it in bulk wholesale instead

What got me is that it's "highly flamable"... call me crazy, but that just makes me want it more

Mine was no charge from a friend who had a couple of bottles. Apparently his dealer gives him one at each service.

I use Sonax Clear View in 5L concentrate it is a bargain, got a small bottle of the same product as a measuring device and refill it when I run out.

I'm on the hunt for some of the VW genuine washer fluid as it seems the wife is tearing through it.

    VW Part Number: G 052 164 M2

Anyone know if there is a larger bottle/drum than the 1L silver bottles and where one might procure it. I'm reading about prices from $7 - $11 in my travels although haven't had any confirmations from a dealer/supplier (other than the $10 and change the local place want for a bottle).

So anyone know where I could get my hands on this stuff?

McGrath Liverpool give the balance of the bottle they use on your car for service as well. they also chuck in a bunch of mints, although that could be a personal hygeine hint

From what I hear Mercede's do the mint thing as well... As for balance of the bottle, at empty it's pretty much a full bottle, then add water AFAIK.

The highly flammable will be the alcohol that's most likely in it. The same stuff that will strip your wax or sealant once it hits your paint.
