    VW Touch Up Spray

    Hey,

1st thread - hopefully its in the right place.

Did a search and no luck, but im wondering if anyone here know where to get VW touch spary - not the pens the dealers sell.
Can only find 1 place online (zakparts) and they wont ship outside UK. google and ebay haven't helped. So any suggestions?

(The colour im looking for is Reflex Silver for a Tiguain)

jt there are companys in the uk that will buy it for you and ship it to you as well. Check a thread in the general section of me asking for something similiar.

For obvious reasons, flammable items such as spray paints can be difficult to ship in small packages so most sellers won't do it.

One of these might solve the problem for you:

    PPC - Minisprayers

I've had one for many years — bit crude, but gets the job done.

Then get a touch-up can of paint such as the ones that come with most Toyotas (VW should also have them) and some thinners.

Alternatively, the auto paint suppliers will colour match it for you, although they usually won't do less than half a litre.

I know we picked a touch up bottle for our Subaru (it was like a large nail polish bottle). And a mate who was a spray painter fixed us up for a home cooked dinner. We would have had him over for dinner anyway.

Couple of weeks ago I dropped into a BCF store and next door there is an Autobarn so I went in to have a mindless browse. At the parts desk down the back I noticed a guy colour matching paint. Being curious I had a look see. He then confirmed the colour match results with the customer then proceeded to put it in a pressurised spray can. I never new they had this service. Be interesting as to how well they match colours.
