Vento is a Mk3 Golf with a boot. Has different front grille and lights.
Jetta is same as Mk2 Golf, but with a boot.
Bora is same as Mk4 Golf, but with boot.
They were called different things in different markets.
Hi guys,
Just wondering, are these all the same car model, just different name? Any differences on the exterior? I'm just referring this to all the models out, but am most interested with the Mk3 models (or same year as the Golf Mk3 - I don't know if the Vento/Bora/Jetta shared the same lineage with the Golf). I see a lot of "Jolf/Getta" conversions on European sites, so I'm thinking they may share some similarities.
Thought I'd put this topic into the bodywork section, as it's the conversions that got me curious.

The different lights on Boras and mk3 Jettas involve a change of bonnet and wings too.
