Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover - Excellent product!
Last week under orders from my Mrs I chauffeured her on a drive from Canberra to Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road and on to the Barossa and then back to Canberra across the Hay plain, 3252 km in all. Let me tell you, the mighty R got coated in bugs, it was Rising dead bug coloured in some spots rather than Rising Blue.
In the past on other cars I've had trouble getting all the bugs off without a lot of elbow grease. I went to Supercheap and picked up a black trigger bottle of Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover. It comes out as a thick yellow liquid that stays where you spray it (the label says it's non drip), even on vertical surfaces. I pre-sprayed all the buggy areas and left it a few minutes before my normal wash routine with Chemical Guys Citrus wash and gloss. It was fantastic! All the bugs and their guts etc literally just wiped off, seriously it was that easy! The bottle claims it won't remove wax, I'm not convinced on that front, but that's OK I wanted to wax anyway. I use Autoglym Aquawax on it nearly every wash, this stuff is good, it is easy to apply and looks great.
I know a lot of detailing/car obssessed people look down their noses at lines like Turtle Wax, but this product is the bomb.
Highly recommended.

good to know!
i might have to give it a bash some time. yes, some detailing guys look down at those brands, but you never know what you're going to find at your local supercheap etc. even though i now use brands like optimum, lake country, finish kare, victoria wax etc etc, once upon a time i used to use only off-the-shelf stuff like turtle wax, armor all etc.
my findings: the armor all extreme shine tyre gel is HUGE value for money - i had my $12 bottle for more than a year before i retired it; i've used the kitten "polishes" etc - NEVER again, it's a complete waste of money to buy ANYTHING with the kitten logo on it; as for spray on waxes, i too went through 2 bottles of autoglym aqua wax before trying other brands... hate to rain on anyone's parade, but i found the eagle one wax-as-u-dry product to not only be far better value for money, but also a superior product in both beading and durability.
anywhoo - i might have to pick up this turtle wax!

Always ensure you use something that will not strip/remove your wax or sealant.
We could suggest re-applying your wax/sealant back over where you have sprayed now to make sure you have the best protection Just incase!
