Touch-up paint or professionally repaired?
Hey guys,
I've got a few scratches and dents on the front and rear bumpers and was just wondering whether I should fix them with touch-up paint or have them professionally fixed? They arent particularly deep scratches
If professional, how much should I be looking to pay?
Thanks

I think your definition of not very deep is quite different to mine. If you can see a base coat or plastic, its very deep! Deep is considered anything your fingernail can get caught in, I had two clear coat scratches that had to be professionally painted over that couldn't be buffed out. You are beyond touch up pen there, just get one of those mobile guys that respray just the area. Both are plastic regions so a pretty quick and simple job for them. The touch up guys would be one lots of people use.
I just realised I hadn't put the price, others may know more there, but I believe it would be under $500 alll up with the touch up guys.

Yeah fingernail can definitely get caught. Thanks for the information!

As a spraypainter I can say that you would be looking at around $350 per bar to repair and paint plus the cost to remove and replace them
