Tint, Paint protection and interior.

Hi guys, I have to give a big Rap to Kim @ Detail Evolution.

Attn Mods if I have placed this in wrong cat, plz feel free to move.

Any how, received my new Touareg last month and did a heap of research into the tint and protection offered by VW and aftermarket specialists.

I was offered a "package" price of $2400 from the lovely after sales girl at the dealer.
This is not my first new car, so I knew from past experience to shop around as I have been stung before (and been disappointed with the "Genuine" products- admittedly not VW).

After hours on the interweb I decided on a product called Opticoat.
Now this post is not about extolling the virtues of Opticoat,(as I won't know how good it is until after some time) but to thank Kim for the fantastic and great service I got yesterday.
Apart from the price ( which was under $1k) his professionalism and attention to detail was superb.
I got Kim's details from the forum and I thank the other members who recommended him to me.

I will post some pics in next few days so you can see how good it looks.

Hi Dave,

I own Clean Getaway Car Detailing on the Sunshine Coast and I do all the Opti-Coat work up here. I also know Kim very well as he is the main man in QLD when it comes to Opti-Coat. And yes, it is a fantastic product and you will find that cleaning your car will be so much easier, even after a few years!
