That would depend on what conditions you are referring to.
1. Do you keep the car garaged every day? Both at work and at home.
2. Is the car a daily drive?
3. How often do you give the car a quick rinse and touch up with quick detailer?
All of the above will affect the length of a wax/sealant's durability. I'm not trying to promote the more expensive stuff over the kind that you can get from Autobarn or whereever, but from my limited research the Swissvax has lasted much longer and provided a better look for "me".
Also, by lasting 6 months, do you look at the way the water continues to bead? Are the beads round in shape suggesting more hydrophobic qualities enduring in the wax/sealant? How easy does everyday dirt and grime rinse off with a high pressure hose from the paintwork?
If you are saying that Megs works for you then continue using that product.
I just like the passionfruit smell of mine.
I mention the conditions above....i live on the coast Coffs Harbour as do all my customers and most comeback around the 6month and yes most have told me they are out in the open...Dailydrivers...and they are tutored into how they wash there cars.
I have used dodo juice and yes its good
but for me the Megs looks just as good using iva NXT 2.0 or
the Hi tech yellow wax.
I always test the water beading action on all customers cars and i can say beading is still very
consistant, thats not sayin i wont re wax thou!
Iam very anal with prep work which has always produce results
..

Yes you do mention one set of conditions. You didn't state that they were for your customers. I've got nothing against NXT as that worked well for my previous car. Trying to find that mega test on detailingworld uk site (or something like that) where some guys tries out many brands on the side of his caravan. That had some interesting real world results.
Alls good mate...
And if you want to delve into the details, beading ability really only shows how much hydrophobic chemicals are left on the paint, not how much actual protection is left. So just because an old wax treatment still beads water well doesn't always mean that it is still well protected.
Some manufacturers have even started to complain about how beading ability is being over-used in comparisons between products simply because it is so easy to visually evaluate. This has led to some wax/protectant manufacturers adding more long-lasting hydrophobic components and less active protection components (to reduce the cost of ingredients).

When I wash myself with soap, I bead.
When I wash with Lynx body wash, I don't bead.
What does that mean?
