Stupid question.. Meguiar's Wash & Wax

Looking to start hand cleaning my car for once, have been watching videos on the two bucket method, the application of wax, etc...

My question is, I am about to purchase the Meguiar's New Car Kit (8 in 1) so that I can have all the tools in a bundle, first of all is this kit recommended?

Secondly, the washing liquid that comes with this kit is the Wash & Wax, does this mean I cannot dry the car after washing it, and then apply wax?

    Sorry for being a noob.

    V,

There are plenty of options that you can choose from a variety of brands, head down to Car Care Products in Moorabbin and get some decent stuff instead of megs crap!

They can go through everything with you an explain a little better and more thorough.

If you're not sure what you're wanting just let me know and i can suggest some products for you
    What’s behind you doesn’t matter..

Wash n Wax products are crap in my opinion. Just get a normal wash shampoo thats PH balanced.

Meguiars isnt very good these days.

Agreed you should not use a 'wash n wax' product.
Do you want to wash it or wax it ? There are a lot of steps between the 2.
    Wash - Remove the dirt
Cut - Remove the old products
    Clay - Remove contaminants
Polish - Remove scratches, swirls & water spots
    Wax - Final protection

Get a specific product for each step
    MK4 GTI - Sold
    MK5 Jetta Turbo - Sold
    MK5 Jetta 2.Slow - Until it dies.

The neutral PH is just feature/specification marketing
The volume of water in the bucket completely dictates the PH
