Stained Leather/Plastics?

Hi all, I just picked up my gti with leather seats option last week, completely new car with 13km on the meter.

Upon initial visual inspection, I noticed some residue marks very clearly on the back of the leather seats as well as some marks on the dash plastic cowlings beside/around the air con controls. These marks look like those stain marks that are usually left behind after wiping down leather with a damp cloth. But it's been nearly a week and the stains have not come out or disappeared yet.

I did make a number of specific notes on this issue, along with a few other minor detailing-related issues (finger prints/dirt stuck under clear boot protective strip, wipe marks on vinyl/plastic interior as well as a very slightly scratched silver VW badge at the front. I was super super focussed on detail and basically gave the new car a microscope examination, short of measuring the paint thickness!

The dealer agreed to revisit this issue for me when I bring it in on the 25th. Do you think these issues are short term and will just need some more time to fade away? Or is there something the dealer needs to do? The wipe marks on the back of the front seats are very obvious. I'll try to get some photos.

I'm guessing those scratches weren't part of the options list you ticked.
Dealer delivery fees are ridiculous, so make it their problem to resolve and return to perfect. No need for mediocrity ever to be accepted practice.
