Should be fine. The main thing with using a pressure washer is don't get too close with the nozzle, minimum half a metre to be safe and be careful around stone chips.

I use the Bunnings exclusive Gerni 125.5, check that out if you want to save some $$$.

In regards to the Autobrite foam lance, you want the Nisfik fitting.

Thinking of getting it tomorrow, is it alright to use with the snow lance? and is it safe (not too much power to damage paint etc)
If you can afford the 140.2 model i would sugget you get it as it has the longer 9meter hose and a bit more power.

It also comes with a wall mount bracket which is very handy.

I have my gerni set up about 2 meters away from the car so if it was to fall over it wont hit the car and with the 9m hose i just make it around the whole car which is the perfect length in my opinion. The shorter hose would annoy me as you would have to move the gerni around the car as you work.

Very good point, it's annoying having to move the gerni around.

Bought the Gerni 130.2 Super from Supernotcheap auto and loving this bit of kit, will put in an order for a snowfoam lance and the washing solution in the coming days

put it up on the hoist and found a few bits of grass, mud, misc debris this beauty cleaned them right away made my wheel arches look brand spanking new!

I'm obsessed...woke up at 6am...didn't care it was a weekend and i sacrificed sleep, all i can say i was giddy and giggling like a little boy all over again as that snow foam stuck like glue to my car for a good minute

The car rinsed with a cleaner finish to which i went to the two bucket strategy and washed it thoroughly to which i will never look back

<3 the snow lance and snow foam!

Sorry i didn't take photos it was too early for me to even think about it, more or less i was concentrated on washing my car

The foam units that come with Gerni's etc are useless because they don't have an adjustable knob on the top to restrict the water flow, resulting in too much water and not enough foam.

I decided to save a ton of $$$ and order straight from the autobritedirect shop in the uk .. was delivered in 1 - 1.5 weeks.

    Autobrite Heavy Duty Foam Lance

ordered my foam direct from Nerta in bulk (25L) which works out to be less than $6/L and they will courier it to your house for cheap .. the great thing about the nerta foam is that it seems to have sort of a wax-like effect once rinsed and dried.

with the knob on the lance almost completely turned, the foam gets to ~1cm thick after it hits the car, and about 20-30secs after application it still looks like this for me, which means that it gets ample time to dissolve the dirt and grime:

.. Nerta was recommended to me by Mario at Eurogloss Prestige, it's what he uses prior to detailing each car.
