Clothes washing detergent (liquid - not the powder) in a bucket with warm water. Dip a soft terry towel cloth in the water and then rub the seat with it.
Got some stains on my folks MK6 118TSI passenger seat
Guessing it's some liquid that's spilt on the seat
Any recommendations on how to clean it?
Cheers

thanks mate
what's the chance that it would just spread the stain :/
Depending on how bad the stain is, you might need to have multiple goes at it (do it then leave it or a few days to dry - then assess).
I hire the steam cleaner vacs "rug doctor" from coles with the upholstry attachment, does a ripper job, you won't believe how dirty the water collection is at the end, even on a clean looking seat thats vacuumed weekly. I do mine every 12 months and water comes out dark brown every time. Human slime gets deep into the fabric and foam. Also gives you a clean smelling car for a while.
Worth every cent of the $45 hire cost, and the products you need to buy last for like 2-3 cleans, say another $40.
+1 to what swainey32 suggested
This is an awesome cleaner. Can be used in a machine as well from memory.
