Scratches in the window??

Hi there, I have some scratches on the bottom of my B1 driver side and passenger side window. These are vertical scratches that were most likely caused by rolling up and down the window and scratching on sand and other dirt/tiny rocks that get caught in the ancient fluffy things which sandwich the window.

My question is, are there any businesses which buff/machine these scratches out?? (preferably in Adelaide) Because I would like to get tint but isn't worth it on a scratched up window, and finding windows for B1 passat's these days in pristine condition are like finding chickens teeth. Any Idea's ???

Contact Novus Glass or any other windscreen mob. they should be able to come out and polish the glass with Cerium Oxide. Its really the only thing that can polish scratches out of glass.

In the B1 I reckon the scratches are from the the metal inside the window scrapers rusting out.

I'm looking for a drivers side window for mine too.
