    scratch to leather

    hi everyone.

sorry if i am repeating a thread.

I accidently scratched the side of my front leather passenger seat with a sharp plank of freshly cut melamine from Bunnings. I gave the seat and the armrest ample cardboard protection but just as i was lifting the boards out, i accidently scratched it.

Now rubbing my fingers across the scratch i can hardly feel the fine grooves created by the scratches.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it? Any leather solutions I can use?

What are the products you guys use to protect your leather from stuff like this?

    Thanks in advance
Delivered: GTI Carbon, DSG, ACC, biXenons, leather, sunroof, park assist, 18"detroits

Word back from my furnishing industry sources say that a Pelle Scratch Repair Kit is the way to go.

Pelle Care - Leather Care | Leather Repair | Leather Restoration

We use their leather cleaner and conditioner in our Bora.

Buy direct from NZ if you can't find it on the shelves, the local agents aren't the most responsive.

Forgot to mention that the cleaner and conditioner is available at Woolies supermarkets if anyone's interested.

The scratch repair kits are a little harder to locate here.

Some upholsterers stock them but it's not guaranteed
