Hi guys, I just lucked into a brilliant deal on Ebay where I have scored a full set of factory interior trim for my Skoda Octavia VRS.
The kit includes full slips for front and back seats, head rests and console lids as well as leather inserts for all door cards.
These are in the late MY12 option colour of full black with red stitching that will replace my original trims with the grey inserts.
My question is - is it hard to do myself? From what I can tell, the seat covers on all seats come away without any permanent stitches. Is this as easy as it seems or are there traps for inexperienced players like me that I should know about?
Of course, the leather door inserts will need to be installed by a pro upholsterer, but I am hoping to do the rest myself.

Candy White MY12.5 Octavia VRS TSI DSG wagon.
Black Plasti Dipped wheels, grille surround, roof rails and badges. Lowered 20mm, torque arm insert.
I believe you can definitely do it. It's just a matter of pulling the material tight in the right areas and installing the clips again.
You can replace the clips with cable ties as it makes it easier to adjust. The good part is if you aren't happy with your job you can just get an upholsterer to fix it.
