Removing polishing swirls

so who was it who said cleaning cars was fun.

i picked up a orange foam for the rotary polisher and some meguirs #1,started at the front quarter and worked my way around.now it aint that easy,after a few passes and trips back n forth to google it finally started making sense.another trip to the store and a white pad and some meguirs swirl remover and finally was getting some results.

basically followed the graph below which worked well with the white foam but was a little to long for the initial cut




anyway after about 65 passes over the whole car and 2 days of polishing i think i may understand about 15% of rotary polishing a car.

anywho got it finished and waxed,will see what the week of looking at it brings

Jeez, that looks WAY too technical.

Plus, rotary polishing will unfortunately give you holograms in the paintwork but hey, you have made an improvement! Hope it came out nice for you!
