Okay.... so I have a polo weakness.. I know it, the wife knows it.. and we all try and avoid the subject
The latest addition to the 'stable' of 6n1's is a nice (or at least it 'was' nice) white 6n1 automatic with 52,000 original documented kms on the clock. The issue being that its been punched up the bottom (pics below)
The right hand side is fairly okay, its just the left (and the back). Given my place should be called 'Pakenham Polo Emporium' I have a spare tailgate, bumper, rear valance and tail lights etc, but I will need to 'coax' the body back into its original shape. The rear door gap has pretty much gone in the middle, and has a full finger width at the top, so i can appreciate that it needs that back left corner pulled back which will (in theory I suspect) bring back that door gap, and pull out the compression on the boot (which you cannot see in the pic), the tailgate is pushed in a good few inches and the tailgate is wedged shut nice and good.
I will remove all the broken stuff... is there anyone in the south east of melb (or will travel) who I could 'hire' for some $$$ for a few hours every now and then who could give me some pointers on how to repair it? Realistically if it doesn't work, then so be it, i have a ton of good quality spares for the next project, but I would like to try and use this to develop some panelbeating skills. I can do all the mechanical stuff like changing engines, gearboxes and what not, but would like to diversify my skills and its not on the WOVR, so once fixed as long as its roadworthy, ill drive it around for a while before giving it away.
anyone?...

My Car(s): 2011 6R TSI Comfortline (Pepper Silver),
If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)
