Plasti dip or paint

Hi, I’m getting my MK6 GTI repainted due to many stone chips and scratches and am thinking about changing the colour of VW emblem. I was wondering which would look better - plasti dipping or having it painted in same colour when the paintwork is done. I personally prefer the matte black but just wondered if painting in the original paint colour is also suitable or if anyone has tried it.
