    Paint Correction Glue Residue Video

    If you've got Glue Residue on your car, Paint Correction is one method to fix it.

    white spirits, tar x or goo remover is another DIY option as well. You dont need paint correction to remove glue residue. It will also gunk up your polishing pads.

    No dealership I know of (including mercedes) would knowingly let a car go through quality control with glue residue from protectant transport wrapping or foam bump stops. And if it did slip through, they could not wash their hands of it if was brought to their attention .

    I agree with liberty.

    You definitely won't need to correct the paint to remove residue from adhesives! Seems a little far fetched if you ask me.

    You can also use Stoner Tarminator, 1Z Einszett TarEX from ccp that will specifically remove residue from vinyls/other adhesives.
