I'd take note and watch peoples writing, and narrow it down : ) Do a bit of a search online, and learn what to look for, and find a way to get a "survey" done with written answers by everyone there. Ideas for a social, a party, opinions etc etc. can be totally legit, and help out management whilst working out your culprit.
