Hi people,
I am thinking of buying a cheap polisher ( the two-handed one).
Any opinions? good or crap? or should I continue to hand polish?

Check out the one CCP sell. I used that at one the Clinic and it was the goods!
My mate has one from CCP also and have seen some amazing results from him.
my fear with the cheaper ones would be doing more damage then good... Havnt used on personally, but have seen some nasty finishing
A good gauge of detailing products is the cheap stuff creates a cheap finish, at the very least buy a RUPES or a Festool. I take it your well versed in using rotary buffs and the different pads and compounds, cutters and sealers that are part of the process. I get scared when ppl buy this equipment![]()
This should do the trick for you:
Car Care Products / Car Care Products / Detailing Kits / All Categories / RO Polisher DAS6 Kit
Random Orbitals are safe if you use common sense.
Attending one of CCP's detailing clinics will help get the best out your purchase.

Good starter kit at that price, my only advice is where it mentions using hard cutter for hard euro paints....only BMW has what's considered 'hard' paint. Audi n vw are medium to soft and Alfa and fiat/Ferrari are very soft. Good luck![]()
thanks folks, info has been helpful

Hmmmmm sorry don't agree, BMW and merc yes, vag paint is a lot softer.
2006 Peugeot 206 GTi 180 - have you ever seen a pug go round a corner?
Yes it is not as hard as the ceramic clears from Merc (nothing is) but any experience I (and any detailer I know) have had with VW paint is that it is harder than most. European manufactured cars generally have higher amounts of isocyanates in the clearcoat than the rest. As I said, models from the same manufacturer will vary and it is best to start middle of the road and go from there.
