liquid makeup stain on seat :/

Up until the other night i was proud of having a basically mint interior in my mk3, people who didn't know there cars would never believe the car was more then a few years old, let alone nearly 17.

Anyway, the other night a girl left her bag on the back seat, and in the morning I realised there was a nice little puddle of what im pretty sure is a liquid makeup on the seat which must have leaked out during the night.

I've tried a few things, and have got to a stage where after applying upholstery cleaner waiting and dabbing I no longer bring anything out. So possibly it has stripped the colour from the fabric :/ there is still quite a noticeable stain there.

Anyone got any idea's on how I could get this out/make it look like new again short of reupholstering the rear seat, which I may just have to do further down the track :/

Reallllly wishing i hadn't been so cheap and got the 303 fabric protectant earlier :S

You need this book. Buy it or check out your local library.

You might also confirm with your female friend what the product was before proceeding further. Could have leaked from anywhere.

Cheers, might see if i can find a copy of that and have a read.

I know it was definately makeup of some sort, i rubber my face on it and looked much prettier, I also mentioned it and she did say her new bottle of stuff was now basically empty. I'll find out exactly what it was if need be.
