Personal taste does come into it for sure - the piano gloss finish does look classy

It's not difficult to do this guys, the vinyl is thin and easy to apply
Only a little heat from a hair drier makes it like glad wrap, easy to pull around bevel edges etc
I have always been useless at applying decals to model cars - air bubbles and wrinkles - but I'm doing just fine with this stuff

Now - can anybody tell me how to remove the alloy trim above the glove box?
(I've done the driver side, including around the light knob - that was easy, they just pull off)
I've looked at the Skoda manual - they show this trim being removed but there is no text explaining how

APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks
Supaloy lower control arms - Enkei 18*8 Wheels

That's ok mate - on EBay there are numerous guys in the UK selling a DVD disc with a program "ElsaWin"
I believe it contains service data for a range of VW & Skoda cars
If you search for ElsaWin you will find other references to it on this and other VW forums

Ok - so I dropped the glove box and then removed the trim above the glove box door
Got it wrapped and re-installed the lot - was not hard at all, just needed patience and a little time

I've also carbon wrapped the roof racks - looks stealth - made me happy
The wife said "that's cool, matches your wheels" so I'm scott free this time
I even matched the weave between sections
While it's not perfect it's entirely acceptable (and saved $100)

Things get harder from here on in
The interior and exterior door trims can't be removed
It's tricky getting around edges when the item is fixed to the car
I'll take a break, give it some thought, and experiment before tackling these
I will probably leave the door handles to the experts however...

Thanks! I'll check them out. Obviously your version works, I've heard that not all the eBay "versions" work (don't install etc)...

I saw some of these sellers saying "does not work on Windows7 64 bit"
Don't buy from them - it's not the program, it's something they've done
(I am running ElsaWin on Windows7 64 bit)

I got it off eBay - just make sure you are buying "3M 1080", that's designed for cars and is removable

They do have clear black and even white available

I also bought smoke film for the head lights - continuing on the steath theme
(I now regret not getting a SuperSkoda grill as mine is going to stick out like a sore thumb)
