I use Autoglym on our leather seats and it works great on the lounge as well.
In preparation for the arrival of my Octy, I've been looking into leather cleaning and protection kits for the car. This has got me thinking that I really need to do something with the leather lounge too.
So, here are my questions:
1. I have ordered leather seats for my wagon. Does anyone know which parts of the seat is leather and which parts are alcantara? I'm guessing the section ppl sit on is leather and the sides, head rest and backs are alcantara?
2. Should I go for a leather or alcantara kit?
3. Any one used car products on their home lounge? Trying to keep the number of cleaning products to a minimum.
Any advice is much appreciated.

Everyone will have their preferred products of choice. Ultimately they will all work as long as you give them the care an attention they need.
For me I have been using the following for the past few years with great results;
On the Jetta I use Leather Guard (Cleaner) and Leather Love (Protector).
On the Mondeo I use the same above but also Fabra Cadabra as it works with Alcantara also;
I use a Swissvax Cleaning Brush for the Alcantara also;
I hope this helps...
If there are other suggestions, I am happy to hear them as I too look for any new or improved ways to maintain my Leather / Alcantara.

1. Skoda's centre on the previous models were upholstery, suede/alcantara (not genuine), and leather - so a 3 combination.
2. Being the way the seats are its not an easy one, ideally you're better off getting something like Nanolex Leather & Textile Sealant to protect the suede/upholsery and leather altogether at one time against dirt, transfer of dye and spillages with the same product. Otherwise you'd have to get a fabric sealer and also a leather - nanolex leather & textile will do all which works out to be quite handy.
3. You can use all at home as well, but of course remember the area you're covering at home!
We have had good feedback on the nanolex against stains, spillages and crayons against kids from a customer recently. He was so happy he bought 2 more for back up haha.
