    leather cleaner/conditioner

My e30 project has black leather seats, the're in pretty good nick but are a little dry. What does everyone use to get their leather looking good?

Try not to use leather cleaners as they pull all the natural oils out of it.

If you need to clean it use warm soapy water and a soft cloth.

for conditioner i recommend either Autogylm, Mothers or my favourite Zymol.

when you apply it use your hands as if you are giving someone a massage. then wipe off the excess with a soft cloth and let soak in for about an hour before you sit on it.

Oddly enough way way long ago when I had a true leather wheel, I was put on to the stuff they use for horse saddles. Gripped like a treat, and looked after the leather.

Works a treat I use saddle soap purchased from Horseland ($15 a tub) on both my couch and the seats in the S3 I smear on the saddle soap with a damp cloth and polish with a soft cloth when dry.

The Zymol has collagen in it to help give the leather a more plush softness

and fyi its also the same price if not cheaper than the autogylm
