Jetta door sills + 3-piece boot lip spoiler + mesh grill

After a day of headaches with my audio install, I thought I'd better end it on a high note.

Two of my packages arrived today. I thought I'd just recommend it in case anyone else is looking for these things.

I got my Jetta door sills for USD $9.99 + 30 shipping from 'autoleague' on ebay.com ..arrived in great condition. Individually packed in plastic; then all 4 in bubble wrap; then inside a hard cardboard tube. These are from HK. There's also a set with blue backlighting..but you've got to find an installer or install the wiring yourself.



I'm also going to try and mod my lower grills and finally got these from customcargrills.com. They've got an ebay, but it's cheaper to buy from their website directly (they were having an offer)..and if you do end up wanting to buy stuff from them, there're a couple of US forums that you can sign up to, and when you're a member, you get 20% discount. I got the XXL variety and it's already smaller compared to the GTI honeycomb. ANyway, it's one of the few (only?) places I found with hexagonal shape grills in black.


Finally, I got the 3-piece boot lip spoiler ..China-made..for a fraction of the OEM/US prices..I thought I'd give it a whirl. The colour matching didn't come out right for my platinum gray, but after negotiation, the seller gave it to me for the price of the non-painted version. Ebay.com seller cnbjautofans. Cost me USD $90 which includes shipping.
