Also check around the edges of the panel to ensure there isn't paint build up/overspray, which is a dead give away to being resprayed. It's only a few minute job to rub it back with a wet/dry sand paper but they don't necessarily do that. I recently had the side of my car resprayed (I was very lightly side swipped) and when I picked up the car it stood out.

They had also called to say the car was ready to be picked up, yet the side skirt had a gap to panel so when asked wtf... "oh yeah, we've ordered a new skirt so you'll have to come back". If I was told that on the phone before collecting the car, I'd have no issue with it whatsoever, that fact I had to question it after they'd given me the key, not cool.

Also check for overspray over the rest of the car. just run your hand over all the panels. Overspray will feel like sandpaper.

Nothing wrong with being anal about getting the quality of service that is reasonable. We're not talking 10-15yr old falcodores.

I am much happier now. My car is painted the CORRECT colour! Very happy with the job they did. I took it to Victory Motor Body Works at Brendale to get it done right. Just need to take it back next week to get the badges put on once they arrive.
