    guard pumping

    any1 know a place to pump the gaurds in sydney? usualy they just use the guard roller and keep widening it..

    i need it to make the back slightly wider so my rims can tuck

    Ozzytyres can roll guards, I believe Tempe tyres do it too.

    and if they dont use a heat gun and take they're time you will have cracks, ripples and flaking paint.

    get it done somewhere proper, call around and see how much and expect $40-90 per arch

    i got my guards rolled already.. i actually want them to push them out abit,

    actual guard pumping?

    hope you've got $$. i'd recommend my panel beater but im doubtful you'd be up for the costs as it definately wont be cheap in any case!

    i got quoted $70 per guard by sydney guard rolling services.. but no guarrantees on paint.

    i need to get it done coz my rims r getting bashed by them

    Your gaurds are already rolled though?

    Actual gaurd pumping is proper bodywork, depending how much you need them pumped, a body shop might be able massage them a bit, but it could get expensive.

    Or do you just need the lips flared a bit?

    sydney guard rolling services will actually flare out my guards for $70

    guard rolling only cost $45

    i dont want to go to a panel beater coz i need te car.. would like a place to go to and get it done on d spot n drive off..

    I'm geussing you only need your gaurds flared, pumping is for fitting massively wide wheels (or tyres) generally.

    Depending how well they do it, you might have a few issues with paint cracks

    Well thats a phat chance Ray, if you want guards pumped like your thread title well when I got my car done I got quoted $2-300 a side to get the guards pumped properly, then you need to match the joints and also body to thats that has been pumped, without destroying the paint which is inevitable.
    I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...
