    Which glovebox do I have?

    2002 Bora v6
Have these 2 options according to ECS tuning:
    1. Glove Box Lid-Light Beige (4TE)
Updated part to replace common broken hinge problem
From VIN #2-080,732, split is in model year 2002

    2. Glove Box Lid-Light Beige (R4
Updated part to replace common broken hinge problem
Up to VIN #2080731*, split is in model year 2002

    My VIN ends in: ZZ1JZ3D004535

    Help!

I reckon the second one, going from your VIN number.
If its just the hinge, will you see it anyway??

I think its the top one, as it has black clips like mine.
Also, I think I have a "series 2" bora as I have the solid headrests, so would likely be the later version glovebox?

Just something else for you to worry about is, is the part your going to get from ECS going to be suitable for a right hand drive car? Should be right if it's just the hinge or light switch thingy you're looking at but especially with overseas returns and shipping costs you need to be careful.
Best bet is to get in contact with your local VW dealer parts department, find out what the specific replacement part number is that you need and then use that to buy from someone who isn't going to ream you like VWA does. That said it's surprising sometimes you can actually find reasonably priced parts at the dealers.
    Cheers,
    Trent
