I saw a thread about seat comfort and maybe neeeding lumbar suport, but thought I'd start this thread to let all know of these products. I'm NOT affiliated with them but after 2 weeks of looking around I did not want to ordera US$50 unit+post or from China.

I have a bad back and was fed up with using a air tube roll that I put behind my back. It keeps on shifting and really too big to use while driving - it is more for office chair use.

So surching around in the interwebs found this place... MSA 4x4
Here's a link to their Lumber Suport page: MSA 4x4 | Lumbar Support

I did not buy the whole backrest lumber seat kit ($118 and $9... I just bought the extra air bladder that are sold for $39.00

I bought 2 bladders and stuffed them behind my Seat back cushion... I have Recaro A8's and the back cushion is just held on with velcro, but you might be able to undo the bottom seam of the seat back and stuff the bladders up into position. The air line to the hand pump is quite long proabably 35-40cm, so you can dangle it out of the back seat bottom corner and let it hang out of the way at the side of the seat.

The bladders come with a canvas cover that protects the rubber bladder. The whole bladder inside its cover is still quite thin.

They are really confortable and sooo much cheaper than retofitting or swapping seats to get the support.

If you cannot or don't want to pull up the seat cover to fit then get the whole seat backrest kit... it is easy to attach and support upto 4 bladders - I woud also assume that it would be quick and easy to move it to another car as it just clips over the seat back.

So where to buy them... (Retail Outlets)
I just rang ARB 4x4 Accessories in Wentworthville NSW and they orderd the extra bladders in and next day picked them up - they did stock the full lumber kit on the shelf.
