The word of free products spread fast on the forums, but not getting any products can spread just as fast and bite them on the butt.

I'm not upset as I'm currently using Pinnacle and poorboys mostly but still...

yup - none for me either. I'll buy some other products now, bit of a **** move on Autoglym's part.

If the rep is on the forums, might as well let your bosses know that saying you'll give some free stuff and then not delivering (especially to a good car community like VWW) is poor form.

The message this states to myself personally and probably many of you here.

Why should we support them if they cannot keep their word on free products.

I did not apply for this but the feedback so far is not promising and now will avoid Autoglym products - there are many other equivalents on the market no matter how good they may be.

Please if anyone receives their free samples could you post here or PM me so I "may" change my mind.

I spoke to the receptionist first and she stated that the survey numbers far exceeded their expectations, and more product samples had to be air freighted in from the UK.

I told her people were talking ACCC for misleading advertising, so she transferred me through to Greg. He explained that the samples had been held up in customs, and will be sent out soon.

I suggested to him that the promoting agency they hired should send an email to everyone giving an update. Strangely, he didn't think that was a good idea. Everything else he said sounded genuine, but not communicating is a shipwreck plan that's just plain stupid.

So, in summary, it's coming, but they are stupidly not keeping us informed. Mentioning the ACCC and fines sure gets the wind up them, as it should

Top work Gerhard - but now they really need to pony up with their samples. i'm pretty sure a lot of folks would agree with me that this is all simple, and if their samples leave us with good results i for one will go and buy their stuff.

Good to get some feedback, but they are probably aware now that they'll get a bad name if they don't deliver (as i noticed people other detailing forums hadn't got anything either).
